Marlene Ross (nee Ziola) was born on June 16,1939 to parents Adolph and Eva Ziola in Wadena, Saskatchewan. At age eighteen, Marleen attended the Saskatchewan Hospital in North Battleford for her registration in Psychiatric Nursing and worked there for three years.
