Gale Lorraine Rennie

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Gale Lorraine Rennie on April 14, 2024 at age 80.

Gale was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan on November 9, 1943 to parents Otto and Ethel Krakowski.  She is the 3rd of 7 children.  Some of Gale’s hobbies were being an avid bowler with the Hospital League, crocheting, and reading for many, many hours.  Gale enjoyed a 30 year career at the Yorkton, Psychiatric Center.  She had a wonderful sense of humor that will be remembered by all.

Gale will be missed and remembered by Laverne Rennie (beloved husband of 61 years); Children Tammy Rennie, Dennis (Myrna) Rennie; Siblings Alvin, Howard (Vivian), Bob, Terry (Sonia); Brother and sister-in-law David and Theresa Rennie, Bruce Knoll; Sister in law Arlene Rennie, Joan Rennie, Charlotte Krakowski; 6 grandchildren Kailey (Kevin) Korney, Tori (Reid) Korney, Carlin Korney, Conor (Michelle) Rennie, Chase Rennie, Carson (Talia) Rennie; and numerous nieces and nephews stretching over a large area of Western Canada.  

Gale is predeceased by parents Otto and Ethel Krakowski; Mother-in-law Florence and Father-in-law David Rennie; Sister Eileen Knoll; Brother Edwin Krakowski; Brother-in-laws Blaine Rennie, and Tom Rennie; Sister-in-laws Lois Krakowski, and Lorna Shekula.

Gale had a deep passion for Family and her home away from home; the cabin at Sunnyside/Burgis Beach where endless precious memories were created.  See you at the lake.
