Wally was born in 1939 in in Arran, Saskatchewan to George and Annie Bawolin. After completing high school he went to Teachers College where he taught school for 3 years. In 1959, Wally became an Insurance Adjustor and worked for SGI until 1969. Wally met and married the love of his life, Lorraine (Slastukin) in 1961. They welcomed their first daughter Deborah (Hohn) in 1962 and their second daughter Dawn (Baird) in 1967. Adjusting would take them through Western Canada, where they made many memories together. What an adventure they had!
By 1985 Wally and Lorraine settled in Saskatchewan, and once again it was just the two of them. They farmed until 2006, and then together worked for Saskatchewan Housing until 2017.
Wally’s greatest love was his wife Lorraine. You never saw one without the other!
Left to carry on Wally’s legacy is his wife Lorraine and family.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends for his unique sense of humor.
