Sylvia Aichele

Sylvia June Aichele, daughter of Alex and Margaret Czinkota of Saltcoats, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully at the age of 84 surrounded by her loving family. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 64 years, Norman and their children and grandchildren, Aiden (Shelley) and Jolanda Aichele, Trent and Sandi Aichele, their children Mitchell, Brett and Charlize, Lundy and Jodi Aichele, daughter Makayla Caissie and her sister Norma (Al) Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by sisters Ethel Thomas, Thelma McGhee, Mona Velichka, and brother Arnold Czinkota. Sylvia was passionate about curling, fishing and playing darts at the Legion, but her favourite thing to do was spending time at the cabin with family and friends. She adored every family Christmas and dancing up a storm to country music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and staff at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre for their kind and compassionate care during Sylvia’s last days.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
