Rudy Loewen Obituary

Rudolph (Rudy) Otto Loewen, late of Wroxton, SK, passed away March 25th, 2026, at his residence in the R.M. of Wallace, SK.  Born April 4, 1938, at Minnedosa, MB to Andrew and Tina Loewen.  Rudy grew up in Moore Park, MB.  Attended Bible College in Winkler Bible Institute, studying music and Bible teaching courses.  He married L. Roberta Toews April 10th, 1965. They farmed and started a family at Moore Park, MB. In 1976, Rudy and Roberta moved to Marchwell, SK. They farmed until 1984, and then sold the farm and bought an acreage in Wroxton Sk.  Rudy was renowned for farming, singing, mechanical abilities, & volunteering in youth ministry.  Rudy was survived by 7 siblings (Anne, Bill, Sue, Helen, John, Linda, & Rose); his wife Roberta (of 60 years); Children: Dean (Jennifer), Joan (Allan Norberg), and Teresa (Trent Davenport); 12 grandchildren; & 18 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by daughter Trinda, his parents, and brother Henry.  A celebration of life will be held on April 18th, 2:00PM at Christie’s Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ShareWordGlobal.com (formerly Gideons).
