The family of the late Ray Kalika age 57 beloved husband of Donna Pakish sadly announce his passing on Monday April 19, 2021 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre.
A private by invitation only Memorial Service will be held on Monday April 26, 2021 at 1:30 from the chapel of Christie's Funeral Home and Crematorium with Shelly Morris officiating.

Donations in memory of Ray Kalika may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Edwin Kalika on April 19, 2021 at the age of 57, with his family by his side.
Ray was born on October 10, 1963 to Ernest and Sylvia Kalika (nee Kalyn) in Wakaw, SK. He grew up in Prince Albert, and shortly after meeting Donna, he moved and settled in Yorkton, SK. Ray worked most of his life in the trucking industry with his most recent employer Federowich Construction, who he really enjoyed working with and for. Ray enjoyed and was great at bowling & baseball in the past, and always loved fishing, hunting, skidooing, and listening to “good tunes”.
Ray was predeceased by his grandparents Mike & Dora Kalyn, and Mike and Maria Kalika; his niece Kristie Kalika; in-laws Nick & Helen Pakish; sister-in-law Emily Armbruster; and brother-in-laws Ray Pakish, Allan Hall, Dudley Peterson and Sid Kowalchuk.
Ray leaves behind to mourn his passing his wife Donna Pakish; daughters Krista (Glenn) of Regina, SK, Megan-Lee of Yorkton, SK, and Brooke (Jeremy) of Regina, SK, as well as his 3 beautiful grandchildren Tatem, Treyten and Aspen.
Ray is also survived by his parents Ernest and Sylvia; brothers Ron, Myron, Bernie and Randy; sisters Natalie and Debby (Roger); and numerous extended relatives and countless friends.
