Peter Anthony Bratusa

Peter Bratusa  June 27, 1938 - September 3, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Peter Bratusa on September 3, 2025 at the Lakeside Manor Care home in his 88th year. Peter is predeceased by his beloved wife, Heidemarie (nee Daubner, January 2022).  They spent many happy years on their farm in Saltcoats, Saskatchewan, retiring  later into Yorkton. Peter is survived by his three children, as well as many grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by his stepchildren as well as his step-grandchildren and by family and friends in Croatia and Slovenia. He also had many friends in Saltcoats, none closer than Garry and Joyce who were so instrumental in looking after Peter in these last few years.

 As per his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. Peter will be laid to rest alongside Heidemarie in the Saltcoats Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local charity benefiting animals (such as the Humane Society) or a charity of your choice.
