Patrick John Lozinski of Yorkton, Saskatchewan passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at the age of 60 years.
Pat believed in respect and didn’t judge. He always encouraged people to be themselves and said never mind what people think, it’s your life, live it how you want to. One of his famous quotes was “what’s the best part of life? … living it”.
Pat never asked anyone for anything, he was the opposite, he was a giver. Pat only had one request at the end stages of his life and that was to have no visitors in the hospital as he did not want anyone to see him in his chronic state. Which goes back to his beliefs of respect.
Pat was a free spirit. He was a social butterfly. He was always available to help others. If he was working on a project, he would drop it when someone called upon him for help or stopped by for a visit.
Pat was so giving that he was an organ donor. Unfortunately, they couldn’t collect any parts as his organs were severely damaged.
He took pleasure in family and friends gathering and watching his grandchildren grow up guiding and teaching them the facts of life and life skills. He enjoyed the twins playing piano and watching his grandson ride dirt bike and was proud of the many trophies he brought home of the many years, winning the provincial championship as Pat ‘s last final days would brag Morgan up about his successes and share photos to the nurses. Pat wore many hats. Pat was a teacher, a mentor, a carpenter, a mechanic, a gardener, a railroader of 37 years and a counselor. Most of all he was a biker. He loved being on the road in any weather conditions. He loved his bikes and would often stand in the rain washing his bike.
Patrick is predeceased by his father Steve Lozinski and brother Calvin. He leaves to cherish his memory and mourn his loss his wife Bernalda, stepson Daniel Schnurr, stepdaughter Nora (Lucas) Kriger and grandchildren Morgan, Courtney and Chealsey, his mother Olivine Ross; his sister Valerie (Danny); brother Timothy and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; as well as many friends and coworkers.
Pat truly is a gift from God for all to share.
A Graveside Service was held for Patrick on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 10:00 am at Yorkton Memorial Gardens.
