The family of the late Dr. Mukesh Mirchandani (former Chief Psychiatrist for the Sunrise Health Region) beloved husband of Eliza Mirchandani sadly announce his passing on Monday September 13, 2021 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre, Yorkton SK.

Dr. Mukesh Gobindram Mirchandani sadly passed away on Monday morning at 710AM on the 13th of September 2021. Dr. Mirchandani, commonly known as Dr. M or Mookie amongst his friends, passed away peacefully.

Dr. Mirchandani was born on April 19th, 1951 in Mumbai India. Having graduated at the top of his class in Psychiatry, Dr. Mirchandani chose to pursue a career that spanned three decades over three continents. Having settled in Yorkton, SK in 1984, Dr. Mirchandani quickly rose to become the Chief Psychiatrist for Yorkton health center. He was the first psychiatrist to become president of the physician’s council as well as the first Indian.

Through his retirement, Dr. Mirchandani frequently spent time with family in Dubai UAE & Mumbai India. He was an avid golfer, budding chef and valued helping people more than anything.

He is survived by his son, Akil Mirchandani, his wife, Dr. Eliza Alimohammed, and his brother Suresh Mirchandani.
