The family of Mike Ardelle age 77 beloved husband of Elvie Ardelle of Springside, SK sadly announce his passing on October 26, 2021 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre, Yorkton SK. A private family service will be held to celebrate Mike's life.
Mike Ardelle was born on the family farm in the Church Hill District to Tony and Mary (Doroshenko) Ardelle on November 12, 1943. Sadly he passed away on October 26, 2021 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre, Yorkton SK.
Mike was from a large family, he was one of fifteen children.
He was united in marriage to Elvie Rumin on October 27, 1973. They chose to call Springside SK their home and to raise their two children Carol and Jason there.
Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting and a competitive game of cribbage or pool; as well as watching hockey and baseball on T.V.; visiting and daily phone calls helped him to keep up on family and community news. He also liked to spend time listening to gospel music, but his favorite thing to do was to visit with his grandchildren Drew and McKinley.
Mike was predeceased by his mother Mary (1975), father Tony (1986), sister Marie (1987), brother Eugene (1990), sister’s Dora (1995), Gerri (2006), Vicki (2014), Irene (2015), Ann (2015), Sophie (2017) and lastly brother Matt (2017).
He leaves to cherish his memory and mourn his loss his wife Elvie, son Jason, Carol (Devin) grandchildren Drew and McKinley; four sisters Nettie, Margaret (Barry), and Elsie all of Regina; Nellie of Yorkton and a brother Johnny (Marge) of Yorkton as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Mike's name may be made to the Saskatchewan Diabetes Association as tokens of remembrance.
