Martin Chalus

With love and sadness, the family of Martin Chalus announce his peaceful passing on October 4, 2025, at the Preeceville Hospital, at the age of 76. 

Martin was born on June 13, 1949 in Theodore, Saskatchewan, to Mike and Helen Chalus. 

He was predeceased by his parents and his stepmother, Annie Chalus.  He will be forever remembered by his children: Kerry (Deb), Kim (Dean), and Kelly (Tracy); Grandchildren Kirkland, Jacob, Avery, Ashton, Justin (Nikki), Cody, Jayden, Colton, Tysen, Andra and Cadence; Great Grandchildren; Hunter, Harper, Onyx, and James; sisters Audrey and Sylvia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. 

Though his earthly journey has ended, Martin’s life will be remembered not only in the love of his family but also in the many small ways he touched the lives of those around him.  His memory will live on in the stories shared, the traditions carried forward, and the bonds he helped to create. 

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Preeceville Hospital for their compassionate care in Martin’s final days. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
