Kevin Borys Obituary

Its with great sadness we announce the passing of Kevin Borys. Kevin Borys was raised in Yorkton and had many wild adventures in his youth. He often spoke of the good old days and enjoyed the freedom that his childhood provided him. During this time he developed a love of the band Kiss that would last him his lifetime. He graduated from high school in Yorkton and moved onto post Secondary at the University of Saskatchewan. After years of study, he achieved his commerce degree and returned to Yorkton to spend time with his parents. He started working at McDonald’s restaurant and after a few years, he moved into his career at the Painted Hand Casino as a Cage Cashier. His knowledge and book smarts meant he always had an opinion regardless of the topic. He loved working with the public and would offer advice to whomever he felt needed it. He developed a reputation as an aloof person with a big heart and mind. In his leisure time, Kevin always read, studied politics and most of all, he ran. He was always spotted running through town and refused any ride offered regardless of rain or shine. He loved running and was firm on its health benefits. He was a proud man that always did things his own way. He is predeceased by his Mother Marie Borys (Bruner) and father John Borys. He is survived by his sister Michelle Dawe, his niece Samantha Dawe and his many friends. He will be missed for his intellect and kind company.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday July 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Saltcoats Town Cemetery, Saltcoats SK.
