Esther Vivian Shingoose was born on July 26th, 1951 in Wadena, Saskatchewan to Elmer and Sarah Cote.
Esther passed away peacefully on April 21st, 2020 at the age of 68 years, with her dear loving husband Geno by her side.
Esther was the most loving person one can be, and she always had love & kindness for others. She served as a homecare worker helping caring for others and was loved by everyone she worked with. Esther was a professional hair stylist and opened her own “Esther’s Beauty Salon” in Canora, Saskatchewan. She loved to spend time visiting her family and sharing many laughs and hugs. Esther loved her Sunday mornings listening to the Gospel songs on MBC, and listening to live services on Facebook. Esther was a Calgary Flames fan, which caused many arguments with her Husband Geno, who is an Edmonton Oilers fan. She enjoyed her Casino’s, trips to Las Vegas with her Husband Geno, and she also had a love for Elvis Presley. Esther really loved travelling, especially camping and fishing with her family. She enjoyed watching her TV game shows, and also enjoying her favourite TV Show, “The Young and the Restless”. Esther was a strong survivor who had fought many medical battles but no matter what she faced, she was always smiling and laughing through it all. She believed in the Bible and believed in Christ Jesus as her saviour. Esther will be forever in our hearts.
