Donna Marie Mabel Grazier

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Donna Grazier on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at Regina General Hospital at the age of 73 years

Donna was born on February 10th, 1949 at Gainsborough, SK to parents, Lawrence and Lenora Kirby. She was the oldest of 3 children.

Donna received her early education at Gainsborough and completed Grade 12 at Carnduff, SK. After graduation, she moved to Brandon where her son Jeff was born. She worked at MTS. Donna then moved to Swift Current with Jeff. There she met Ken Grazier, and they were married in 1988, also in 1988 they moved to Grande Prairie and stayed in that community until 1999. Donna enjoyed living in Grande Prairie during these years, until Ken and Donna moved back to Saskatchewan, arriving in Preeceville in 1999 and then to Yorkton in 2002.

In Donnas younger years she was very involved with Girl Guides. Later years she enjoyed crafts such as knitting, ceramics, sewing, pottery, etc.

Donna was an excellent cook and loved to try many new recipes. She had a great love for all her pets, especially Coco and Willow, who miss her.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Lenora Kirby, her son Jeff, step father Garieth Rhodes, brother Tom Kirby. Also, father-in-law Keith Grazier, sister-in-law Lynda Tavonius, brother-in-law Clifford Grazier.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Ken Grazier and dear pets Coco and Willow, brother Reg Kirby and his daughters; Stacey (Clinton) Chase, Mercedes, Holden, Brotzel and Brittany (Jerod) Kenzley, Avery Fineday, sister-in-law Anne Kirby, nephew Myles Kirby and family, niece Carrie (David) and family, step sister Loretta (Vince) Kolash and family, daughter-in-law Karen Veitenheimer and grandsons Ethan and Blake. Also survived by mother-in-law Violet Grazier, sister-in-law Luanne (Randy) Hrywkiw, Jason, Brock, Colin and families, brother-in-law David Grazier, Matthew and Luke, sister-in-law Brenda, Tim, Daniel Grazier and numerous relatives and friends.

We would like to thank family and friends for all of their support during this difficult time. Also, to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, The Rev. Kim Sherwin, The Rev. Luanne Hrywkiw, and all at Holy Trinity Anglican church who are helping with Donna’s funeral. Also, to Greg and Christie’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16th, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Yorkton. Interment will follow in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church Columbarium.

Memorials in memory of Donna may be made to the Diabetes Society, Heart Foundation, or Cancer Society.
