Dale Kitzul Obituary

Dale Kitzul of Bredenbury, Saskatchewan passed away on May 27, 2020 at the age of 66 years with his loving wife Brenda by his side.

Dale was born in Ituna, SK on September 20th 1953 to Steve and Anne Kitzul.  At a young age Dale’s family moved from Ituna to Bredenbury where he and his brothers were raised on the family farm.  Dale attended grade school at Clumber and Bredenbury School, then attended Yorkton Regional High School.

Dale met Brenda Rosin and were married on June 10th, 1978 in Churchbridge, SK.  They were blessed with two sons, Warren (1982) and Regan (1985).  Dale was very proud of his boys and their accomplishments in life.  He enjoyed watching his boys play minor hockey as well as taking them camping and fishing.

For a period of time Dale was employed at IMC, CP Rail, and the town of Bredenbury. But what he loved most was raising cattle and working on the farm.  Many good times were had with his family and friends at the Kitzul farm and many stories could be told about the mischief that took place with Dale and his brothers out there.

Dale also enjoyed fixing things.  He was a good mechanic and spent countless hours in his shop building trailers and working on projects.  Dale will always be remembered for his persistent nature and his independent ways.

In 2014, his family grew with two daughter in-laws, Jena and Brooke.  Then he was blessed with four grandchildren, Connor, Livia, Camryn and baby Jack. He cherished the times he spent with his grandchildren which brought him much happiness.  Dale’s time with his grandchildren was cut short due to his poor health.

His life changed over the last three years with many hospital stays in both Regina and Yorkton.  Although his quality of life was not good he managed to make the most of the years he had left in his own way.

Over the years many good times were spent with his sister in-laws and brother in-laws.  Dale was always interested and cared about his nieces, nephews and their families.  He also liked taking care of his boy’s dogs, Gino & Kingston.

Dale was predeceased by his parents, his in-laws Bill and Elsie Rosin and his brother Robert.

He leaves behind his wife Brenda, son Warren (Brooke) and their children Livia and Jack, son Regan (Jena) and their children Connor and Camryn, his brother Donald (Donna), his brother Terry (Verna), his brother in-law Allan Rosin and sister in-law Audrey (Dennis) Nagy.  His nephews and nieces, Kevin (Kristine) Kitzul and Sheldon Kitzul, Jaime (Keith) Belitski, Robin (Brett) Ruf, Vince (Karla) Kitzul, Loni (Chris) Morrison, Kelsey Kitzul (Matthew), Megan (Tom) Dehod, Brooke Nagy, Taylor Nagy, as well as many great nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.  For more information or to leave words of condolence for the family please contact www.ChristiesFuneralHome.com.
