Caroline "Judy" Ward Obituary

Judy was raised by her Godly Mennonite Grandparents along with her Aunts Adel & Wanda, & Uncle Walter on a fruit farm in Vineland, Ontario.

At age 7, Judy prayed to accept Jesus Christ into her heart as her personal Saviour. Judy & her Uncle Walter together memorized much scripture, had Bible sword drills, and attended street meetings.

She had a lively & care-free childhood with her cousin Loren & her sisters, Shirley & Donna.

At age 12, Judy had several months of operations & hospitalization for osteomyelitis in her left leg. She suffered all her life from that foot fusion & pain.

Judy's dream of becoming a Nurse became a reality in 1964. The same year began her 59 years of marriage with John. Besides her RN & BA degrees, Judy says she earned her PHT degree (Putting Hubby Through) while supporting husband John in earning all his university degrees, & qualifications.

For many years, Judy worked as a loving, dedicated Registered Nurse, teacher, housewife, & mother. Judy enjoyed life & was always pleasing in her desire to live for Jesus Christ & be of service to others.

Judy loved to play the piano, organ, & sing. She was always busy doing something. There are many notebooks Judy filled over the years, one day at a time, with a Bible verse that meant something special to her that day in her reading. Judy's favourite life Bible Verse was Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
