Adrian Lyon

The family of the late Adrian Lyon age 66 beloved husband of Merrilyn Lyon of Yorkton sadly announce his passing on May 2, 2022 in Regina, SK.

Adrian William Lyon, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully May 2, 2022 at the age of 66 years. He was born on July 23, 1955 to parents William and Alison (Freakley) Lyon. The family originated from Trinidad West Indies, Adrian completed school there in 1973, and he and his family immigrated to Yorkton that summer.  In 1976 he began work at Saskatchewan Department of Highway’s where he worked until retiring 41 years later.  After retiring from highways he worked as a consultant for WSP.  He always enjoyed getting out snowmobiling, tinkering with and admiring vehicles.  He enjoyed keeping a nice yard and being outside, he always had time for a coffee and loved to Bbq.  Adrian will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years Merrilyn (Edgar) and his children Scott (Crystal), Shaun (Robin) and granddaughter Olivia and by his sister Suzanne (Anthony),  brothers Nicholas and Marc and mother Alison. Adrian was predeceased by his father William. Memorial donations may be made to a  charity of one's choice.

A memorial service will be held on Monday May 9, 2022 at 1:30 pm from the chapel at Christie's Funeral Home and Crematorium with Shelly Morris officiating.
