On Friday, December 23, 2022, Adeline Kohlert of Yorkton, Saskatchewan passed away, at the age of 94 with family by her side.
Adeline is predeceased by her husband Leo, her father William and mother Alvina Just (Neudorf), brother Gordon and her sisters Elsie Fiege (Albert), Emily Look (Reuben), Martha Trithardt (Henry), as well as sisters-in-law Joyce Just and Gladys Just.
Adeline will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Lawrence, Clifford (Marie) nieces, nephews, godson, and friends.
Adeline Helena Kohlert was the fourth child and youngest daughter born in Springside, Saskatchewan. She worked on the family farm as well as various occupations in Yorkton.
Adeline married Leo Kohlert on November 16, 1947, in Yorkton.
Adeline enjoyed gardening, going to garage sales, playing cards, collecting salt and pepper shakers, visiting with family and friends.
Adeline was well known by her Dad’s endearing name of “Tootsie." She was known for her quick wit, sense of humor, practice of hospitality whenever family or friends stopped by for a visit. She had an infectious laugh and enjoyed socializing at family and church functions at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
A graveside service has been held at Yorkton City Cemetery on Wednesday August 23rd at 1:00pm.
Memorial donations in memory of Adeline may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
