Ronald (Ron) Peter Paul Toth
(September 13, 1962 – May 4, 2018)
Ron was born in Saskatoon SK on September 13, 1962. He was the second son/sixth child to Joy Sikora and the late, Theodore (Ted) Peter Paul Toth. In February of 1964, Ron moved with his family to Esterhazy SK.
Ron spent his elementary school years at P. J. Gillen School in Esterhazy and his high school years at the Esterhazy High School. After graduation, Ron became a journeyman painter and was eventually employed with the Government of Saskatchewan until a car/pedestrian accident that took place in Yorkton SK on August 1, 2010.
Ron was a resident of the Yorkton Care Home in the Skinner Unit, where he was treated with the utmost care by the staff until his passing on May 4, 2018.
Ron loved many types of music, especially Jann Arden. Over the years, he enjoyed hockey, skiing, swimming and diving, biking, and was an avid pool player. Ron had a love for nature and enjoyed the great outdoors. He had a fascination with rocks and would pick them up whenever one caught his eye. Ron had a great love for his family and friends.
Ron was predeceased by his grandparents, Cecil and Nellie Howie and Leslie and Rose Toth, his father, Ted Toth, his sister, Pat Nicol, his brothers-in-law, John Hogarth and Bill Clague, a step-sister, Denise Metzler, a step-brother, Darren Metzler, and a great nephew, Madden Clague.
Ron is survived and lovingly remembered by his mother, Joy Sikora (Wilf), his sister, Sandy Hogarth (Kevin), his sister, Wendy Clague (Ben), his brother, Rick Toth (Marty), his sister, Kate Groseth (Henry), his brother, Howie Toth (Kristin), and sister, Meme Koch (Mike), as well as 6 nieces and 8 nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and his special caregivers, Angela (Angie) Appell-Smith and Carly Westburg.
Ron will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
