Harold Emil Kaeding passed away peacefully on May 19th at the Regina Pasqua Hospital.
He was born to Edgar and Alva Kaeding on July 7, 1947 in Langenburg. He was baptized and confirmed in Trinity Lutheran Church. Harold received his education in Churchbridge and then went on to work at various Potash mines around Churchbridge and Saskatoon. On June 21, 1969, Harold married Barb Miller in Churchbridge. They farmed with his dad for 1 year and then they moved to Sparwood, BC where he worked in the coal mines. In 1971 they came back home to Churchbridge to farm as his dad went into politics, and he continued to farm for the rest of his life. Harold and Barb had 3 boys, Randy, Corrie and Cameron and they spent many hours with their dad farming, showing 4H cattle, fixing in the shop, snowmobiling, golfing and camping as they were growing up and also as adults.
Harold was very proud of all his grandchildren and loved going to their activities. He enjoyed playing cards with family, spending time with his dog Max, and loved to visit with everyone. Harold was also on the Langenburg RM and Coop board for many years.
Harold was predeceased by his parents, father-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 48 years, Barb, his sons Randy(Michelle), Corrie(Kara) and Cameron(Amanda). 7 granddaughters, Dallas, Madison, Abbey, Regan, Megan, Ashley and Kathleen. His brother Jerry(Elaine) Kaeding and sisters Heather(Murray)Sveinbjornson and Debbie(Dennis) Dedels, mother-in-law Pat Miller and brothers-in-law Jim Miller, Harvey(Susan)Miller, Allan(Shawna) Miller and Glen(Lana) Miller, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
